What dog owners are saying
Recent review snippets help visitors gauge vibe, upkeep, and who each park suits best.
My dogs had a great time today. The pool is deep enough for real swimming in one area but has little “beaches” for splashing around and playing. There’s a dock for jumping off. Two tunnel areas. Plenty of grass to run around. A hose for spraying off or filling a water bowl. Trees and a shaded area with chairs. There’s also a dog wash that accepts cash or card. Bathrooms and vending machine. Affordable prices. I would recommend it. 😁
Read more about Country Kennels and Dawg WaterparkThis is a nice park to hang out with your kids. There is so much to do over here and something for everyone. There is a baseball field, play equipment for kids of varying ages, bbq area, place to ride tire bike and what not. Ample parking and clean bathrooms. Nice picnic tables to have some snacks with your family.
Read more about Los Alamos Hills Sports ParkWonderful place for hiking. Perfect for kids too. If you do the loop on the Adobe trail you will be half in shade, which we loved. Once you arrive at the Adobe's there's you'll find a few nice spots to have packed lunch. They have picnic tables and Porta potties.
Read more about Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological PreserveNice big grass field down hill for jogging. Big basket ball court next to it. There's two playground uphill by the bathroom and parking lot. It has 2 small roofed picnic tables along with about 4 cement benches by the playgrounds. It's got some good shades by the playgrounds but too bad the swings don't have any shades.
