What dog owners are saying
Recent review snippets help visitors gauge vibe, upkeep, and who each park suits best.
So cool! Reminds me of childhood trips to the beach with kids and figs running free. Please Note: This place has a long and fairly steep staircase from the road to access--not wheelchair friendly! If your dog doesnt like stairs or has hip-dysplasia, keep driving and park near the lighthouse for great walking trails across the street.

Read more about Fredrick St Dog ParkBest kiddie/dog park i have ever been to. Something for all ages! Very well kept parked areas and very clean restrooms. Also they are very kind to the inhoused. A small food pantry and a book exchange. Lots of picnic tables.
Read more about LEO’s Haven Accessible PlaygroundThe Fern Grotto is a must destination in the park. The vegetation seemed to drip down water like a rain forest. Taking the Old Cove Landing Trail takes about 45 min, but yields breath-taking views of the cultural preserve beaches and cliffs. A shorter back trail will also get there in 30 minutes, but is not as scenic. Be sure to bring footwear to cross the sandy beach.
