What dog owners are saying
Recent review snippets help visitors gauge vibe, upkeep, and who each park suits best.
The park is huge...with greenery all around...looks scenic ...it's great for a long walk...went in the afternoon no expecting it to have a lot of people but found a lot of parked cars and people with kids and pets. If the grass was clean it would have been wonderful to walk on the grass bare foot but as animals are allowed one can never be sure what they might step on...saw parents playing tennis with kids and kids all around playing on slides and making most use of the stuff built for them...there were birds in the pond the water of which looked beautifully green but it wasn't clean as one could find things floating on the edges. Had heard about the presence if a variety of animals or birds but didn't find any. There was a dog feeding place too . There need to be directions where one can find different things and cleanliness can be maintained better.
Read more about Las Palmas ParkWent to walk the dogs at the park and stopped by the dog park. This is a great neighborhood dog park. My review is for the small dog side only. First off, this is a large small dog side. Second this is one of the few parks with real green grass. This place was super clean , didn't see any droppings. There's some bags available and a pooper scooper. The water was working and garbage can was emptied recently. My boys had a great time running around. I wish that there were some other dogs for them to play with, but I think that they had a good time.
Read more about Dog Park | Las PalmasSeriously a pretty good dog park. Not a 10/10, but still nice and clean. More than enough room to throw the ball and to get the zoomies out. We went after 5pm- not a lot of shade but the day was cool enough. At first we were the only dog there- then others who were walking around park came in to play too when they saw us. Yes it’s dirt- but packed- I have been to much worse! Met a nice lady and her pup Sammy! I’ll be back when in the neighborhood. Yes- bring your own poop bags.
Read more about Muwékma Dog ParkBleak. Small fenced in area for small dogs. Medium size area for bigger dogs. Little to no shade. All dirt surface and water fountain feature that could use repair. Would not recommend your dog using it in the current condition. Seems like the only pros of it are that it was well constructed initially and it does provide an off-leash area if other animals are present.
