What dog owners are saying
Recent review snippets help visitors gauge vibe, upkeep, and who each park suits best.
If South Beach is the high-energy heart of Miami, South Pointe Park is its sophisticated, soulful anchor. I’ve visited many parks across Florida, but this one is absolutely amazing and stands in a league of its own. Whether you are a local looking for a breath of fresh air or a tourist wanting the "real" Miami experience, this is the spot. The Gold Standard for Sunsets Hands down, this is the best place to watch the sunset in the entire city. While most of Miami Beach faces east toward the Atlantic, the southern tip of this park offers a panoramic view that captures the sun dipping directly behind the Downtown Miami skyline. Watching the sky transition from a fiery orange to a deep purple while the city lights begin to flicker on is a cinematic experience. It is the kind of view that makes you forget your phone exists—though you'll definitely want it for the photos. The Perfect Evening Stroll The park is a beautiful place to walk around as evening approaches. The paths are wide, impeccably maintained, and wind through lush green hills that feel like an oasis. I highly recommend walking out onto the South Pointe Pier. Standing over the water, you get a unique perspective of the surfers catching waves and the massive cruise ships navigating the "Government Cut" channel. There’s a certain magic in seeing those multi-story ships glide past just yards away from the shore. Surprising Convenience One of the biggest hurdles in Miami is usually the logistics, but I was thrilled to find plenty of parking available right at the park entrance. In a neighborhood where finding a spot can feel like winning the lottery, South Pointe makes it remarkably easy to just show up, park, and start relaxing. It takes all the stress out of the visit. Final Verdict: If you want a clean, safe, and breathtakingly beautiful way to end your day, South Pointe Park is non-negotiable. It’s a 10/10 experience every single time.
Read more about South Pointe ParkFirst time taking my 10 month old Newfie to a daycare and she LOVED it! She’s a bit shy around people + dogs so we figured to socialize her and everyone there treated her wonderful. Now she absolutely lights up whenever we turn the corner! Her notes on the report card; that they send me every-time she goes, are the funniest things ever. + the photos they take of her are so cute! Will be coming her back here whenever I’m busy and she can’t be left alone!

Read more about Ives Estates Dog ParkThis area is absolutely beautiful, but to have such weath surrounding such a delapidated playground is shocking. It's quite frankly a safety hazard. Most of the playground has sharp rusty bits and kinds can be greeted with "I'll kill you" written on the play area (see picture). I really with they could fix this playground up because I'm worried every time my daughter wants to go on the rusty swings. The wildlife is cute though.
