Awful parking but what an absolute gem of a playground for littlest to teenagers.. beautiful trees and view just a few min from Rio
Read more about Green ParkThere's always plenty of parking. There are two gated areas, one for large dogs & one for small dogs. They have mental some obstacle course pieces afixed 2 the ground in the small dog park. Both are surrounded by metal fencing & both have a double gated door entryway. My puppy dog fits into the "small dog" classification so that the side we go to. There's a raised metal trash vestibule with a spring loaded lid on top of it with a metal dog do do bag dispenser above it. The small dog park is always well maintained, i.e., the grass is regularly mowed & it's cut short, the sand area is always supplied with an adequate amount of sand (they add additional sand when needed), the dog do do trash is frequently emptied & there's also plenty of do do bags. There's also a water facet/fountain x's 2. There's only one problem, I initially started taking my puppy dog there last year because I wanted her to socialize with other dogs, when she was between 3 and 12 months old, however, on most of our visits there weren't any other dogs there. Not necessarily a bad thing but as I have a big yard, I don't need to take her to the dog park to play catch with her.
