It offers a wide variety of sports areas along with multiple spaces that can be reserved for parties and celebrations. There are large, well-designed areas for kids to play, and the long walking trail is great for enjoying the outdoors. The park is very clean and well maintained, with bathrooms conveniently located throughout the park and plenty of parking available across the property. Overall, it’s a great park with something for everyone.
Read more about Martin L. "Marty" Snook Memorial ParkFairgrounds park has proven itself to be one of the most conveniently located, well kept, and dog friendly places in the Washington County area. There are multiple baseball fields, 2 dog parks, a BMX track, a skateboarding park, and an ice skating rink! There are also walking trails through the woods and a paved connection between Fairgrounds and Pangborn Parks that has a running creak with lots of ducks. The park’s groundskeepers seem to keep the place very well kept and tidy, however, there are a few that enjoy enforcing the rules a little too much. One older gentleman specifically, rides in a golf cart or in a white truck, watching and waiting to reprimand anyone who he suspects rule breaking.
