Good park to run the dog or take a nice walk. If you like pickup games of Baseball. Football, Soccer or throwing a Frisbee back and forth, lots of green open spaces for you to play. But there are no picnic tables, benches, restrooms or any type of shelters for shade. Also take note that this is one of Wheaton's water control parks (flood control) so it can be very wet after a rain.

Cantigny Park at Christmas transforms into a truly magical winter wonderland, offering an experience that is both awe-inspiring and deeply romantic. As you step onto the grounds, thousands of twinkling lights illuminate the trees, pathways, and gardens, creating a warm glow against the crisp winter air. Every turn reveals another beautifully designed light display, making the walk through the park feel like a peaceful, storybook journey meant to be savored slowly, hand in hand. The atmosphere is perfect for couples and families alike. Strolling beneath the shimmering lights, you can pause to enjoy a cup of rich, steaming cocoa that warms your hands and adds to the cozy charm of the evening. Laughter and soft music fill the air, blending seamlessly with the sparkle of the season. Nearby, ice skating adds an extra touch of classic holiday joy, as skaters glide gracefully across the ice, surrounded by festive lights and cheerful onlookers. One of the highlights of the evening is the stunning McCormick House, beautifully decorated and glowing with elegance. Its historic charm feels even more special during the holidays, offering a glimpse into the past while perfectly complementing the festive setting. The Cantigny Museum also adds depth to the visit, inviting reflection and appreciation amid the celebration. Overall, Cantigny Park’s Christmas light show is breathtakingly beautiful. It’s an unforgettable experience filled with romance, wonder, and holiday spirit—perfect for creating lasting memories on a winter night.

I cannot speak highly enough of Wag 'N Paddle. If you're considering bringing your dog here, let this be your sign that it's the right move. My border Collie had an assisted swim with Crystal and she was incredible with him. It made me emotional! She was able to swim him almost the whole time. He loves to get out and jump in but she was able to keep him swimming and really tuckered him out. He absolutely loved it. The facility is gorgeous and squeaky clean. I have absolutely no reservations about bringing my pup here. Amy was wonderful getting us checked in and checked out. We will be back over and over again.
