Truly beautiful local trail, we did about 2.5 miles and there is more to walk through! It's clean and kept up, there are many places to have some food take breaks or just enjoy nature. We saw lots of tortoises and some turtles too! No alligators today but there were signs for caution. Overall. will come again!
Read more about Turkey Creek SanctuaryBeautiful park that fused nature with playground/kid area. It has a lil bit of everything all in one. There is an area with outdoor exercise equipment and a big walking trail. It has a playground for a younger age group and a playground for older kids. They have a boardwalk area that looks out to a decent sized pond. Definitely a lot to do and see
Read more about Gleason ParkEau Gallie Square is a beautiful park with large oak trees and native plants all of which is located on the corner of Highland Avenue and Eau Gallie Boulevard. The park is home to a small, lighted amphitheater / pavilion, picnic tables, benches, and paved brick walkways throughout. Eau Gallie Square is owned and managed by the City of Melbourne/Parks & Recreation Department which is housed in the Eau Gallie Civic Center. If you are interested, Eau Gallie Square can be rented! The amphitheater / pavilion does have electricity available (with extra cost involved) and the park has electricity and lights at various points. Events at Eau Gallie Square are hosted by organizers such as Repticon and Eau Gallie Rotary Club just to name a few. Some of these events being organized at the venue are of Consumer Fairs & Carnivals and Space Coast Pride. Basically, this amazing little park is perfectly placed and is perfectly setup! In the heart of the Eau Gallie Art District, you can NOT help but stop by this park regardless. It doesn’t matter if you are just walking to the Civic Center, or if you are strolling along through the Art Fair… you will eventually find yourself watching performers on the stage and admiring the park in all it’s glory!

Yet it can be peaceful, fun for a picnic, a gathering at a pavilion, letting the kids play at the big playground area, or an outing with your dog at the dog park.
